Hamigaki Dog Co., Ltd. to Hold First Overseas "OraBio Certified Dental Care Salon Intensive Course" in Taiwan

Hamigaki Dog Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka Prefecture, Representative: Aya Yamada) will hold its first overseas "OraBio Certified Dental Care Salon Intensive Course" in Taiwan in July 2026.

This course is an educational program developed by "Hamigaki Dog," which has a cumulative track record of instructing over 3,500 dogs in dental care in Japan. It will be conducted in collaboration with the pet oral care brand "OraBio."

In recent years, as pets age across various Asian countries, interest in oral problems such as periodontal disease and bad breath has been increasing. However, opportunities to learn about at-home tooth-brushing habits and correct care methods are still insufficient.

At Hamigaki Dog, based on the philosophy that "tooth brushing is a habit," we have developed tooth-brushing classes and a certification system within Japan.

This event in Taiwan marks the first step in expanding these initiatives overseas.

The course will cover not only the basic knowledge of canine oral structure and periodontal disease, but also practical training in:

- Restraint methods that do not burden the dog - How to select and use toothbrushes - Counseling methods for owners - Lesson design for continued practice - Actual tooth-brushing practice

Participants will learn the know-how cultivated in Japan through hands-on practice. Furthermore, a certification system for "OraBio Certified Dental Care Salons" will be available to participants, and we plan to build a network of certified salons within Taiwan going forward.

Hamigaki Dog and OraBio aim to spread Japan's pet oral care culture to the world and contribute to extending the healthy lifespans of dogs and cats.
