Accessibility Conference CHIBA 2026 to be held on September 5 at Makuhari Messe International Conference Hall, expanding 1.5 times in scale

Novelty Inc. and the Accessibility Conference CHIBA Executive Committee (chaired by Miki Sakai, Representative Director and CEO of Novelty Inc.) will hold the Accessibility Conference CHIBA 2026 on Saturday, September 5, 2026. This event gathers stakeholders from companies, local governments, educational institutions, and NPOs to achieve an accessible society and digital environment for everyone. The conference aims to provide opportunities for information dissemination and exchange among individuals and organizations working on accessibility, and to explore diverse industry situations and related services. The first Accessibility Conference CHIBA in 2025 was a success, with the theme "From Starting to Expanding." The second conference in 2026 will be held with the theme "What Changes and What Remains Unchanged," expanding the venue size by 1.5 times. The environment surrounding accessibility is rapidly changing due to technological advancements and increased social awareness. However, the essence of accessibility—that everyone, regardless of age, disability, or nationality, can access and use necessary information—remains constant. This event, held in Chiba, aims to create new insights and paths for participants by exploring new technologies and perspectives under this theme. The event will take place at Makuhari Messe International Conference Hall, 2nd floor, International Conference Room, with live streaming on YouTube. It is scheduled from 13:00 to 17:00 (reception opens at 11:00) on September 5, 2026, with a post-event social gathering planned. The venue capacity is 150 people, and live streaming is unlimited.
