Hotel New Otani (Tokyo)'s Chinese restaurant 'Taikanen' will offer its summer-limited 'Cold Dan Dan Noodles' starting June 1, 2026. The dish features a base of clear chicken broth and rich soy milk, accented with the numbing spice of Sichuan pepper oil and the heat of chili oil. It is priced at 4,000 yen (excluding service charge). Other summer noodle dishes include 'New Sour Cold Noodles' (4,000 yen), 'Gomoku Cold Noodles' (4,500 yen), and 'Shark Fin Cold Noodles with Spicy Soy Milk' (9,000 yen). The menu is available until September 23.
