Nissen Co., Ltd. This project was planned to solve the 'discomfort and worries in the summer business scene' faced by working women. It adopts the highly functional material 'Sota®' by Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. It is the 'ultimate summer suit' proposed by Nissen, combining coolness as if the wind is blowing right through it, and features that are appreciated by women such as 'non-see-through and UV cut'.

Development Background

~Overwhelming comfort for women fighting the harsh summer~

Amid the record-breaking severe heat of recent years, we wanted to do something about the current situation of working women who cannot part with their suits even while sweating heavily during daily commuting and outside sales... This project started from such a strong desire. 'Being cool is already a given. We want to provide the sense of security that lies beyond that.' While searching for materials with this sentiment, we encountered Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd.'s 'Sota®'. Inspired by the Japanese wisdom of 'Sudare' (bamboo blinds), this material has gaps that are visibly clear, yet mysteriously prevents seeing through, and the moment you put your arms through the sleeves, there is a sensation of wind smoothly passing through the clothes. We were convinced, 'This is exactly the answer we have been searching for.' So that working women can work confidently and beautifully without dropping their performance due to the heat. We will deliver our confident masterpiece, carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, through Makuake.

1. Overwhelming breathability created by the 'Sudare' structure
We adopted Teijin Frontier's highly functional material 'Sota®'. With a unique weaving structure that creates gaps between threads, much like a traditional Japanese 'Sudare', it achieves outstanding breathability that could not be achieved with conventional suits. It releases the heat inside the clothing and constantly provides a refreshing wearing feel.

2. 'Non-see-through' & 'UV cut' to resolve working women's anxieties
We overturned the common sense that 'good breathability = thin and see-through fabric'. Although the Sudare suit is made of ultra-thin fabric that lets the wind through, you can wear it without worrying about it being see-through. Furthermore, it is equipped with a UV cut function indispensable for the upcoming season, firmly supporting outdoor activities.

3. 'Ultra-lightweight' and 'dries quickly after washing' easy care performance
Achieving surprising lightness (*approximately 178g for a long-sleeve jacket size M), it is finished with a stress-free design that minimizes fatigue even during long hours of wear.
