Nichiryoku Begins Sales of 'En-no-sono' Ossuary in Myogadani, Tokyo

Nichiryoku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masashi Watanabe; hereinafter 'Nichiryoku') is pleased to announce the commencement of sales for the 'Myogadani Ryoyen Rinsenji En-no-sono' ossuary in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, starting June 1, 2026. This follows the completion of the business transfer agreement with RSJ LLC, originally announced in April 2025.

A limited-time promotional campaign will also be held to mark the start of sales.

1. Background of the Service
In recent years, there has been a growing demand for 'haka-jimai' (closing ancestral graves), particularly among urban residents originally from regional areas who find it difficult to maintain family graves. Due to the trend toward nuclear families and changing lifestyles, people are increasingly choosing ossuaries that offer high accessibility and low maintenance burdens over traditional temple or suburban cemeteries.

2. Features of 'En-no-sono'
The facility is located extremely close to Myogadani Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, offering excellent transportation convenience for Tokyo residents. Unlike Nichiryoku's luxury ossuary in Akasaka, this facility is designed to be 'casual,' aimed at integrating seamlessly into daily life and flexibly meeting diverse memorial needs.

3. Pricing
- Ten-en no Ma (1F): 1.12 million yen
- Ko-en / Sho-en no Ma (B1F): 0.8 million yen
(Prices include permanent usage fee, repository, nameplate, basic engraving, 2 prayer cards, and permanent memorial fees.)

4. Expected Synergies
By leveraging the management expertise and customer base from its existing Akasaka operation, Nichiryoku expects to create clear synergies, including improved brand power through multiple locations, better marketing efficiency, and optimized operations.

5. Launch Campaign
Period: June 1 to August 31, 2026
- Gift: Customers signing a contract during this period will receive a choice of one of three memorial gifts (worth 10,000 yen), such as high-quality incense sets or preserved Buddhist flowers.
- Bonus: The first 20 customers who sign a contract on the day of their visit will receive a 5,000 yen QUO card.
