Nagaoka Launches Piano Mat and Chair Mat to Suppress Sound and Improve Indoor Acoustics

Nagaoka will launch, under its 'Nagaoka Trading' brand, the NPM01 Piano Mat and NPM02 Chair Mat—silent mats designed to suppress sound resonance and enhance indoor comfort. The products will be available nationwide at electronics retailers and online stores starting June 30, 2026.

Manufacturer's suggested retail prices are 10,000 yen (excluding tax) / 11,000 yen (including tax) for the NPM01 and 5,000 yen (excluding tax) / 5,500 yen (including tax) for the NPM02.

The Piano Mat (NPM01) and Chair Mat (NPM02) are sound-dampening mats engineered to reduce sound resonance and improve indoor acoustic comfort. They soften the reverberation of keystrokes, enhance sound clarity within the room, and suppress sound reflection through sound absorption performance (NRC 0.35), creating a clearer and more pleasant listening environment. Available in three colors: beige, gray, and dark brown.
