GATE ONE Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Otsuka Pharmaceutical"), and in collaboration with each local government, will broadcast unique "heatstroke prevention awareness" videos on the in-store digital signage "FamilyMart TV" starting June 30, 2026 (Tue) as part of initiatives aiming to be "the most loved by local communities," one of the slogans for FamilyMart's "Ichiban Challenge."

Heatstroke Prevention at FamilyMart! Awareness Videos Broadcast on FamilyMart TV, Installed in Over 10,000 Stores Nationwide, in Collaboration with Otsuka Pharmaceutical and Local Governments

This year, FamilyMart, the 47 prefectures, and Otsuka Pharmaceutical will collaborate to produce and broadcast "heatstroke prevention awareness videos" on the digital signage "FamilyMart TV" installed in stores nationwide. Each prefecture's unique awareness video (15 seconds) will be broadcast, raising awareness about heatstroke through visuals and audio.

Broadcast Period: Tuesday, June 30, 2026 - Monday, July 13, 2026, 11:00 - 17:59

Video Length: 15 seconds (broadcast 6 times per hour during the above period)

Broadcast Stores: Approximately 11,300 stores nationwide equipped with digital signage in all 47 prefectures (as of the end of April 2026)

Tie-up Advertisement Also Broadcast on Weather Information Program "FamiTen"

"FamiTen" is a weather information program broadcast on digital signage, FamilyMart TV, installed in FamilyMart stores nationwide.

This time, a tie-up advertisement between Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s Pocari Sweat and FamilyMart TV's weather information program "FamiTen" will also be broadcast. One of the three screens of "FamiTen" will be an advertising screen, displaying optimal ad materials based on the weather conditions of each area.

First Collaboration with FamilyMart's App "FamiPay"

This year, in addition to the in-store digital signage "FamilyMart TV," heatstroke warnings will also be issued within FamilyMart's app "FamiPay."

We will deliver information that fits into customers' daily lives not only to those who visit our stores but also to those who are outside the stores, through "FamiPay."
