Digital Growth Academia Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, President and CEO: Jeon Yeong-gu, hereinafter DGA) will launch "Minna de AI (beta)," an AI assistant function to support DX promotion and AI utilization, on "Minna de EX," an AI digital adoption platform that reached 10,000 users within six months of its release in January. The service will begin in July 2026.
DGA has supported the AI and DX human resource development of many companies. Through ongoing support, it has become clear that even when companies provide high-quality learning opportunities, it is difficult to translate them into behavioral changes and practical application in daily work.
The background to this is a "mismatch" between the learning opportunities provided by companies, such as training and e-learning (supply), and the timing and content of knowledge and hints employees need during their work (demand).
DGA offers "Minna de AI" as a new system that allows each employee to obtain necessary knowledge at the moment they feel "I want to know now" during their work, rather than the traditional approach where companies provide uniform learning opportunities.
Previous Challenges: Educational Investments That Are Difficult to Lead to Results
The evolution of digital technologies, including generative AI, is accelerating.
Companies continue to invest in human resource development so that employees can acquire new knowledge and skills and practice them in the field.
However, in reality, the following situations arise:
- Employees are overwhelmed by daily work, and learning is postponed. - The content of employee education does not match the problems the field is facing. - Learning is difficult to translate into practice, with completion of courses or consumption of materials becoming the goal.
This has become a common challenge for many companies, where educational investments are difficult to translate into sufficient results.
Approach to Resolution
DGA determined that to solve this problem, it is important not to continuously increase new educational content, but to deliver the knowledge and know-how that companies already possess to the right people at the right time.
Many companies have accumulated a wealth of knowledge that can be utilized in the field, such as e-learning materials, videos, manuals, and operational know-how. DGA focused on creating a system that connects these to the work challenges of each employee.
"Minna de AI" transforms educational content from "something to be taken" into "knowledge to be utilized in work," becoming a companion that allows users to continuously update their skills in their work.
On the other hand, "Minna de AI" is not intended to be a tool that simply "teaches the answer."
"Minna de AI" = "A reliable senior colleague who walks a little ahead."
Not a friend, but not overly formal. Possesses specialized knowledge but does not flaunt it. While providing answers, subtly shows the "next view." Makes you feel a little smarter each time you ask. This is the concept behind its evolution.
- Not too friendly; strictly a work consultant. - Not pushy, but provides appropriate insights and sparks interest. - Possesses solid expertise and is trustworthy.
This shift in perspective is the basic design of "Minna de AI."
Main Features of "Minna de AI"
"Minna de AI" is an AI assistant that allows employees to obtain necessary knowledge, solutions, and hints on the spot by consulting the AI about questions and challenges that arise in their work. For example, it can answer questions such as:
- "I don't know how to utilize AI in my work." - "I need hints for creating a proposal." - "I'm struggling with developing subordinates or management." - "I don't know where to start promoting DX."
The AI will provide answers based on the knowledge DGA has accumulated in the field over many years.
1 Highly Reliable AI Answers Based on DGA Knowledge
The basis for the answers "Minna de AI" provides to user input questions is a database of over 500 proprietary knowledge items, reflecting AI and digital utilization operational know-how, business improvement case studies, and problem-solving knowledge that DGA has cultivated with clients in the DX field. Based on this database, "Minna de AI" provides highly reliable answers.
Unlike general internet information, it provides information that is easy to apply in corporate practice and can be used with confidence.
2 Knowledge Answers and Content Recommendations from AI
While answering questions, the AI also recommends relevant videos and learning materials.
This reduces the situation where users themselves don't know "what to learn" or "which materials to look at," allowing for smooth access to knowledge tailored to each individual's consultation.
- Answers clearly present key points useful for work in text. - Recommends related video content to encourage "learning on the go." - Clearly states when a question is outside the scope of its knowledge.
3 UI Design That Doesn't Confuse Even First-Time Users
It is equipped with suggestion buttons to allow even those unfamiliar with AI to use it intuitively.
For example, by simply selecting buttons corresponding to usage scenarios such as:
- "I want to create a persuasive proposal." - "I need hints for developing subordinates." - "I want to know examples of AI utilization."
Users can start a conversation with the AI.
Value Brought to Employees and Companies
1 Value for Employees
"Minna de AI" provides an environment where employees can quickly access necessary knowledge for challenges that arise in their work.
Employees will be able to:
- Reduce the "I don't know who to ask" situation. - Resolve the "I don't know where to start" situation. - Obtain hints and knowledge useful for their current work on the spot. - Gain knowledge that can be directly applied to their work.
Instead of stopping at "taking content," they can gain knowledge that moves their work forward and apply it.
2 Value for Companies and Administrators
"Minna de AI" supports HR, training, and DX promotion managers by reducing operational burden and improving the results of educational investments.
Traditional training and e-learning operations involve significant operational effort, such as:
- Course selection - Participation guidance - Design of learning themes - Follow-up with non-participants
With "Minna de AI," employees can access necessary knowledge based on their work challenges, reducing the burden on administrators to continuously encourage participation.
Furthermore, by enabling each employee to utilize "knowledge needed now" in their work, learning opportunities are more likely to lead to practical application in the field, rather than ending with course completion.
This allows companies to improve the results of their educational investments and shift from a "system for managing participation" to a "system where employees utilize knowledge themselves."
▼ Launch Schedule and Target Audience
Launch: July 2026
Target: Corporations with Minna de EX contracts
▼ President's Comment
We have supported the AI and DX human resource development of many companies.
Through this, we strongly felt that simply providing good materials and learning opportunities is not enough to sufficiently lead to behavioral changes and practical application in the field.
Therefore, we re-examined the approach to human resource development not only from the perspective of "what content to provide" but also from the perspective of "how to deliver necessary knowledge to the right people at the right time."
"Minna de AI" is a new challenge that embodies this concept.
We will continue to aim for human resource development that utilizes the knowledge accumulated by companies in the field, leading to behavioral changes in individuals and the growth of companies.
