Creative unit TENT (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) has started pre-orders for "TINYVASE," a ceramic toothbrush holder that can hold a set of oral care tools for one person, on its online store "TENT TEMPO."

This product addresses the common bathroom problem of clutter caused by increasing numbers of oral care tools such as toothbrushes, point brushes, floss, and interdental brushes, a trend driven by growing interest in preventive dentistry. During the pre-order period, the product is available at a 10% discount, priced at 1,782 yen (tax included) instead of the regular price of 1,980 yen.

Bathrooms Cluttered with Increasing Care Tools

With the rising interest in preventive dentistry, more people are using point brushes, interdental brushes, and floss in addition to their regular toothbrush. However, as the number of tools increases, the area around the bathroom cup tends to become messy. When family size grows, the number of tools doubles, leading to problems like "not knowing which tool belongs to whom," "tools falling over due to different heights," and "dirt accumulating in the gaps."

TINYVASE solves this "increasing care tool problem" with the simple idea of organizing tools for each person into one stand.

Unique Cross-Sectional Structure for Stability and Cleanliness

To accommodate both tall toothbrushes and short floss or interdental brushes, TINYVASE adopts a "vase-like" exterior shape that is wider at the bottom. Meanwhile, the inner hole is a straight "U-shape," allowing fingertips to reach the bottom for easy cleaning. This design ensures stable storage of multiple tools while eliminating hard-to-clean areas. Made of ceramic (porcelain), it is well-suited for wet areas, durable, and hygienic for long-term use.

Carry It Anywhere with One Hand

Brushing teeth doesn't always have to happen in the bathroom. Whether you're brushing your child's teeth on the sofa, the bathroom is crowded, or you want to relax and brush in the living room or bath, you can carry just your set of tools with one hand and move to your preferred "brushing spot."

Color variations are also available to help family members easily identify their own.

Crafted with a Kiln in Seto, Aichi, Established in 1959

The complex cross-sectional shape of TINYVASE was made possible by the plaster mold manufacturing technology of MM Yoshihashi Co., Ltd. (Representative: Kenichi Yoshihashi) in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, a company that has been creating ceramic molds since 1959. Each piece is hand-glazed and carefully fired at a kiln in Seto.

"This product started from my personal frustration with the cluttered bathroom countertop caused by increasing dental tools. After much trial and error, we arrived at the shape of a 'small vase' that not only fulfills its function but also sits gracefully in the heart even when not in use. It makes daily brushing feel a bit more proud and enjoyable. I hope it becomes a part of your daily life."
