Main Hall Exhibition: Main Program

■ First Exhibition: "Van Gogh: Masterpieces — Sunflowers, Starry Night, Almond Blossoms…"
A dense, immersive experience where Van Gogh's works come to life. A 40-minute journey to awaken your sensibilities.

The first exhibition to mark the opening of "RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES" is "Van Gogh: Masterpieces — Sunflowers, Starry Night, Almond Blossoms…" This program vividly portrays Van Gogh's life and creative journey through his representative works from early to late periods, including the immensely popular "Sunflowers" and "The Starry Night" in Japan, all accompanied by magnificent visuals and music.

Born in Zundert, southern Netherlands in 1853, Van Gogh taught himself to paint. Influenced by Realism, Impressionism, and Japanese Ukiyo-e, he established his own powerful style, characterized by thick impasto. Despite a short painting career of just over 10 years, he left behind approximately 900 oil paintings and about 1100 drawings and watercolors, yet only one work was sold during his lifetime. However, after his death, his revolutionary expression was highly acclaimed and continues to captivate people worldwide.

At "RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES," Van Gogh's program, which has attracted 3 million visitors worldwide, will be enhanced with original Japanese footage. In a special space designed from scratch for this facility, Van Gogh's works come vividly to life before your eyes, offering a deeply immersive experience that feels as if you are being drawn into them. Immerse yourself in a shower of art and enjoy a moment where your sensibilities are richly awakened.

Main Hall Exhibition: Short Program

■ Concurrent Exhibition: "Gaudi: The Genius Architect Who Built the Sagrada Familia"
A new experience transcending the boundaries of architecture and art, bringing Gaudi's sculptural beauty and philosophy up close.

In addition to the main Van Gogh program, you can also enjoy "Gaudi: The Genius Architect Who Built the Sagrada Familia," a short program of approximately 10 minutes. Antoni Gaudi, an architect born in the Catalonia region of Spain in 1852, left behind numerous original architectural works primarily in Barcelona, including the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, and Park Güell. His organic forms, which do not rely on straight lines or right angles, and unique designs inspired by nature elevated architecture to the realm of art, captivating people worldwide to this day. This work vividly depicts Gaudi's overwhelming sculptural beauty and philosophy with light and sound, focusing on the Sagrada Familia, which is nearing completion 100 years after Gaudi's death. Experience the artistry and magnificent scale of Gaudi's world heritage sites, feeling the changing light of Catalonia, and be drawn into a creative world where nature and architecture merge.
