What is 'TABLE TOP TANK'?
This title is a 'tabletop battle game' that makes full use of the Meta Quest's latest MR technology, the 'Scene API.' Your real-world home table becomes the battlefield, and you can play using only hand-tracking, utilizing your actual table as the game field.

Inspired by the traditional Japanese game 'Tonton Sumo,' the game offers intuitive and rhythmic hand-tracking controls to maneuver your tank, providing a battle experience packed with intense focus and excitement.

The game is set on Mars in the year 2045.

There, the mechanical lifeform 'Olympus Network' has built a base. Realizing that the 'Olympus Network' is plotting to invade Earth, humanity has successfully hacked one of the enemy's prototype units to prevent the invasion, launching a mission to defeat the 'Olympus Network' hiding on Mars via remote control from Earth.

Players project the battle on Mars onto their own tables and use remote control to aim for the destruction and shutdown of the artificial intelligence command center lurking in the depths of Mars!

Magical Experience: Intuitive Controls via 'Full Hand-Tracking'

The biggest feature of this game is the 'hand-tracking' control system, which uses no controllers at all.

Use your left hand to move and turn the unit, and your right hand to issue attack commands. It offers an intuitive MR-specific control feel where your hands directly interact with the game world.

Goals of the Joint Development and Future Outlook

This is a new type of MR battle game that fuses TV Asahi's IP production capabilities with CharacterBank's advanced technical expertise. The game developed here creates synergy through the strengths of both companies and will continue to evolve through future updates.

The official version (paid), scheduled for announcement in April, will implement a multiplayer mode for up to two players to compete against distant family and friends, as well as features to customize unit parts based on game progress, allowing players to swap out attack methods and mobility.

Furthermore, we plan to develop features such as special attacks triggered by the real-world action of 'tapping the table'—much like the 'Tonton Sumo' that inspired the game—as well as continuous combo moves to generate excitement. We are also working on features that automatically recognize real-world obstacles like cups and books on your table, allowing them to be incorporated into your strategy as in-game cover.

We also hope to further evolve the game based on the feedback and ideas from users who play this early access version.
