Masayoshi Ooishi x Airi Suzuki's "Desho Fes!!" 2026: Grand Call for "Anime Song Divine Songs We Want to Hear Again!"

■ 5th Anniversary! Special Project to Revive "Legendary Covers" Live!

With over 2 million subscribers! The popular program "Masayoshi Ooishi x Airi Suzuki's Desho Desho!!" from TV Asahi's official YouTube channel "Douga, Hajimemashita." A special project celebrating the 5th anniversary has been decided for the program event "Masayoshi Ooishi x Airi Suzuki's Desho Fes!! 2026," to be held on May 20 (Wed) at SGC Hall Ariake!

The project is titled, "National Popular Vote! Grand Call for 'Anime Song Divine Songs Masayoshi Ooishi & Airi Suzuki Want to Hear Again!' GO!GO!GO! Desho!!"

Masayoshi Ooishi and Airi Suzuki have covered over 60 anime song divine songs, including duets. Among them, Airi Suzuki's cover of "Idol" (YOASOBI) and many other "legendary covers" exceeding 10 million views have been born! Also, in the collaboration between Masayoshi Ooishi and Airi Suzuki, "secret base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~" (ZONE), a scene where Ooishi supported an emotional Airi during what was "the last performance before the program's renewal" became a major topic!

The two, who have built this "history," are now making a huge call for "songs they want to hear performed live again" from the anime songs they have performed in the past, as a token of their gratitude to the fans who have supported the program!

The two will perform songs selected by fan votes! Those divine songs will be revived on the 5th anniversary stage!

It has been decided that guests Kocchi no Kento and TRUE will appear at this event!

TRUE has appeared twice on the show: in July 2021 and August 2025, early in the program's run. During her first appearance, she showcased her beautiful voice by covering the first and second season ED song "Little Soldier" (Azusa Tadokoro) from the anime "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!" Kocchi no Kento also made his third appearance this March. The show was recently lively with a "collaboration concept" between his own song "Shinu na!" and Ooishi's song "Shinda!"

We are simultaneously soliciting "cover songs you want to hear" for Kocchi no Kento and TRUE, who are part of the "Desho Desho!! Family"! There's even a possibility of a special collaboration only for this day...!? We also kindly request your requests for them!

Participation is possible by reading a QR code with your smartphone from a flyer distributed at the venue on the event day, May 20 (Wed)! Quizzes based on past famous scenes from the program will be presented. Those who achieve a perfect score will receive "a setlist with SP messages handwritten by Masayoshi Ooishi and Airi!"
