Blueberry picking is unlimited in time. Furthermore, visitors can freely move between the farm and the cafe, allowing them to take breaks during picking or cool down at the cafe, enjoying their time without worrying about the clock. For the 2026 season, the popular rest area from the previous year has been further expanded. The farm now features a large covered rest space with tables and chairs. At mökki, we cultivate about 50 varieties of blueberries, mainly highbush and rabbit-eye types. Blueberries vary slightly in size, sweetness, acidity, and aroma depending on the variety and when they reach their peak season. Since the taste changes with each visiting period, finding your favorite blueberry by comparing the seasonal varieties is one of the joys. Depending on the growth conditions, you can compare over 10 varieties during your visit. Sometimes, you might even encounter a large blueberry the size of a 500-yen coin. At mökki, we call such a special berry a "Lucky Berry." You can enjoy picking while feeling the differences in taste and size. Cold sweets and baked goods made with blueberries are also available at the cafe. The farm's attached cafe offers cold sweets and baked goods made with blueberries. Popular items include fluffy shaved ice, rich blueberry smoothies, and the "Nuts and Berry Milk Frappe," which was well-received after its introduction in July last year, among other menus perfect for the hot season.
