FlaGraad Kagoshima, a men's professional volleyball team operated by Field X Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hioke City, Kagoshima Prefecture; Representative: Yasuo Kozono; hereinafter "Field X"), a subsidiary of Change Holdings Corporation (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Daisuke Furudome), held its 2026-27 season team philosophy and vision announcement event on July 3, 2026. The team will make its debut this season in the Suntory Sunbirds V.LEAGUE (hereinafter "SV.LEAGUE"), Japan's highest-level volleyball league. As the only SV.LEAGUE MEN team from Kyushu, FlaGraad Kagoshima will rise to a new stage under the slogan "We Fights - The Power of the South."

Five-Year Journey and Club Evolution

Founded in 2021 with Hioke City, Kagoshima Prefecture as its home base, FlaGraad Kagoshima made its debut in V.LEAGUE Division 3 in the 2023-24 season, winning the championship in its first year with overwhelming offensive power and organizational strength. In the 2024-25 season of the new V.LEAGUE MEN, the team advanced in the Western Division and won the playoffs, becoming the inaugural annual champion. For the 2026-27 season, the team has secured its place in the SV.LEAGUE, Japan's top-tier league.

To elevate the entire club beyond short-term reinforcements and sustain competitiveness throughout the season, the team has established a comprehensive philosophy and vision.

2026-27 Season Team Slogan: "We Fights - The Power of the South"

The slogan for this season is "We Fights - The Power of the South." It represents a collective of individuals who each take initiative and fight together. It embodies the club's determination to be a team that fights together, aiming to unite everyone in battle. The intentionally grammatically incomplete phrase expresses the team's resolve: "We are not yet complete, and that is precisely why we will keep moving forward and fighting, even if it's messy."

Three Meanings of "WE FIGHTS":

Everyone is a "fighter": Players, staff, Feathers (fans), and partner companies—all stakeholders in the club are aligned in the same direction, expressing the will that "it's not someone else fighting, but all of us fighting together."

Daily efforts are the fight: A philosophy that every moment related to the club—beyond matches, including training, preparation, and community activities—is part of the "fight."

Embracing imperfection: The grammatically unconventional expression symbolizes the team's ethos of moving forward relentlessly, even if it's unrefined.

Volleyball Style: Aggressive Challenge Volleyball

The new team will compete under the banner of "Aggressive Challenge Volleyball." This team strategy emphasizes taking initiative and proactively attacking, assuming control at all times. The team will apply pressure aggressively in every phase—serves, blocks, attacks, and transitions—continuously challenging to create scoring opportunities. This playing style will become the defining identity of FlaGraad Kagoshima.

2026-27 Season Roster and Staff Structure

In preparation for its debut season in the SV.LEAGUE, the team has finalized its roster. This season, among eight new players, the club has signed four foreign players for the first time in its history.

New Uniforms Unveiled

The new uniforms for the 2026-27 season embody the club's philosophy, respect for the local community, and aspirations for the future.

Home Uniform (1st): Based on a deep navy that reflects Kagoshima's dark skies and seas, with a single orange stripe evoking Sakurajima. Its solid, orthodox silhouette exudes authority the moment players step onto the court.

Away Uniform (2nd): Dominated by orange, symbolizing the power of Sakurajima, this aggressive design expresses explosive energy and forward momentum. The design aims to imprint the presence of the team's guardian spirit deep into the opponent's court.

Additionally, the phrase "PRIDE OF KYUSHU" is inscribed on the pant hems, symbolizing the club's commitment to carry the pride of Kyushu into every challenge.

As the only SV.LEAGUE MEN team from Kyushu, FlaGraad Kagoshima will continue to deliver new value from Kagoshima to the entire Kyushu region and across Japan. With the power of the South in their hearts, the club will fight alongside everyone involved.

Comment from General Manager (GM) Shunsuke Kawanabe, FlaGraad Kagoshima:

"Participation in the SV.LEAGUE marks a true new beginning for the club. This announcement is not just about presenting policies—it's about conveying our determination and resolve for what kind of club FlaGraad Kagoshima will become and how we will move forward. Under the slogan 'We Fights - The Power of the South,' we will fight together with everyone involved and deliver surprises from the South to the entire nation."
