Qibao Malatang (Qibao Malatang), a malatang specialty shop operated by Dining Innovation Co., Ltd., will open its first store in Toyama Prefecture, "Qibao Malatang Toyama Maruto Store," on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Founded in 2007 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Qibao Malatang is a malatang specialty shop that, while based on the malatang popular in China, has pursued a unique flavor that is neither authentic nor Japanese-style. Its feature is the ability to enjoy a "cup just for you," freely choosing from soups made with over 30 types of medicinal spices and over 50 types of toppings.

In recent years, the number of malatang specialty shops has increased, mainly in urban areas, and it has become popular among a wide range of generations. Qibao Malatang will open its first store in Toyama Prefecture with the desire to make malatang a more familiar daily food.

To commemorate the opening, a 50% off campaign on all food and drinks will be held for two days, Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27.

The founder encountered malatang in Singapore and conducted research by visiting over 200 shops in China. Based on the authentic taste, the shop is characterized by its pure flavor, which has been uniquely refined to maximize the original appeal of malatang.
