Daiken to exhibit the "Assist Rail ASR" at Railway Technology Expo Osaka 2026

Daiken Co., Ltd., a comprehensive manufacturer of building hardware, exterior building materials, and exterior accessories, will exhibit at "Railway Technology Expo Osaka 2026," to be held at INTEX Osaka from May 27 to May 29, 2026 (Wed–Fri), at booth 3B-11.

The exhibition is a trade fair covering railway-related technologies. Daiken will showcase its "Assist Rail ASR" system, which is designed for high-altitude work with working platforms, including maintenance tasks on rolling stock, cleaning and repair work, and maintenance on freight containers at heights above 2 meters.

Daiken is a leading manufacturer of hang rail components used to suspend and move heavy, large doors at factory and warehouse entrances. Using that know-how, the company developed the "Assist Rail ASR" fall-protection rail system for workers performing elevated work. The demonstration will provide an installation scenario close to real construction usage.

Assist Rail ASR is a fixed-type fall-prevention device for works at elevated positions of 2 meters or higher, such as railway vehicle inspection, repair, and cleaning tasks, as well as freight container maintenance.

The system fixes rails to H-shaped steel beams on upper structures such as hangars, and allows a runner to travel inside the rail. Workers are supported by a separately sold fall-arrest suspension harness, enabling smooth movement and improving work efficiency.
