Applications are now being accepted (on a first-come, first-served basis) for the 'SME Workplace Visit Bus Tour' aimed at high school students in Gifu Prefecture, organized under the 'FY2026 Youth Regional Collaboration Project' commissioned by the Gifu Labour Bureau.

This project aims to prevent early turnover among local youth and encourage stable employment. While the employment rate for new high school graduates in Gifu Prefecture currently remains high at 99.9%, the prefecture faces a challenge where one in three graduates leave their jobs within three years. Against this backdrop, this tour offers students the opportunity to visit local businesses and experience the workplace firsthand, deepening their understanding of regional industries and fostering vocational ambition. By conveying the appeal and rewards of jobs that are difficult to see from job postings alone, the project seeks to prevent early turnover and lead to stable employment.

Applications are being accepted from high schools interested in promoting early career education and local employment.
