Tomica & Plarail Shop Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu Store to Open Temporarily on July 1, 2026 (Wed)!

Takara Tomy Co., Ltd. has announced the temporary opening of the "Tomica & Plarail Shop Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu Store" (3-1-1 Kaneda Higashi, Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture), a specialty store for the die-cast mini-car series "Tomica" and the railway toy series "Plarail," on July 1, 2026 (Wed). This marks the first time a "Tomica & Plarail Shop" has opened in an outlet mall. The store aims to cater to families looking for outings just before the summer holidays and to provide more customers with an opportunity to experience the world of Tomica and Plarail.

Located conveniently for shoppers, the store is a new destination for families, "Tomica" and "Plarail" fans, and international visitors alike.

The store boasts a sales floor area of 49 tsubo and offers approximately 1,500 types of Tomica and Plarail products. In addition to shop-original merchandise, it will feature a wide range of items including household goods, apparel, and snacks. Visitors can also enjoy a large "Plarail" tower and the "Tomica Assembly Factory" attraction, where a staff member (Kashime-man) will assemble a "Tomica" car using parts chosen by the customer for their desired color.

Opening Commemorative Campaign & Shop Original Products

To celebrate the opening of the Kisarazu store, a "Spin the Gacha Campaign" will be held for customers who spend 2,000 yen (tax included) or more during the period, with a chance to win shop-original goods (while supplies last). The store will also carry shop-original Tomica products.

About "Plarail"

The prototype for "Plarail" was the "Plastic Train & Rails Set," released in 1959 as a toy made from plastic, the latest material at the time, when toys made of metal and wood were mainstream.
