16-Year-Old's Passion from Shiga Arrives, Opening at Rinko Park: 'Truck Bed Becomes a Gallery'

Takanet Service Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Takao Nishiguchi) will co-host the mobile solo exhibition 'Koko Koko Ten Yokohama' by 16-year-old high school artist Koko Sugimoto, in collaboration with Maedahiromi Art Gallery (Kawaramachi Nijo, Kyoto Prefecture), starting May 15th (Friday). This event coincides with their participation in 'Japan Truck Show 2026,' a logistics and transportation industry exhibition held at Pacifico Yokohama from May 14th (Thursday) to 16th (Saturday), 2026.

For this project, a mobile gallery utilizing a truck bed will appear at the Rinko Park South Entrance Plaza in Yokohama. This new exhibition concept integrates logistics and art, delivering 'space' and 'experience' itself under the theme of 'transporting dreams.'

■ Project Background: Art Comes to You

This exhibition supports the desire of Koko Sugimoto (16 years old), who resides in Shiga Prefecture, to 'deliver her works to more people,' powered by our company's 'transportation capability.' The vehicle used is the mobile multi-purpose space vehicle 'Ten Ten Tenpo.' The moment the truck arrives at its destination, it transforms into an art gallery. This realizes a new exhibition format where art 'comes to you' from rural areas to cities.
