According to the 'White Paper on Small and Medium Enterprises' by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency and surveys by the Small and Medium Enterprise and Regional Innovation Organization, many SMEs remain in the early stages of digital transformation (DX). Particularly among small businesses in rural areas, common challenges include 'not knowing where to start' and 'lacking someone to consult with' regarding AI and DX adoption.

In response to these structural challenges, Tayyo Tsushin, founded in 1976 (Showa 51) and established in 1981 (Showa 56), has long supported the social infrastructure of the Sanin region through telecommunications services such as disaster prevention radio systems, business radio systems, cable television, networks, and security cameras. The AI utilization support service 'AI-sanin' was launched by leveraging this locally embedded business foundation, simultaneously addressing the two major barriers to AI adoption: lack of AI skills and low AI literacy.
