The new song 'Wanna me' by adieu (Moka Kamishiraishi) has been selected as the ending theme for the second cour of the TV anime 'Ascendance of a Bookworm'. A CD single containing the track is scheduled for release on July 29, 2026. The new song 'Wanna me' is written and composed by singer-songwriter Satoko Shibata.

The song depicts the inner and outer strength of Rozemyne, who, despite her loneliness and weaknesses, believes in herself, fights on, and builds bonds with her companions. adieu provides a narrative-like vocal delivery that resonates with every listener.

The product will be released in two formats: a 'Limited Edition' including a Blu-ray (BD) and a 'Period Limited Edition' featuring an exclusive anime illustration jacket. The 'Limited Edition' will include live footage from the 'adieu LIVE 2025 à la plume' concert held at KT Zepp Yokohama in September 2025. Further updates regarding the product contents are planned.
