The movie "Mirai" is based on a masterpiece mystery novel, hailed as the culmination of Kanae Minato's work, which she released on her 10th debut anniversary, following the great success of her first film adaptation, "Confessions."

The film was directed by Takahisa Zeze, known for works such as "Fragments of the Last Will" and "The Ones We Love."

Led by Yuina Kuroshima, along with rising star Nanami Yamazaki, Ryota Bando, Kao Ta Hosoda, Hana Kondo, and experienced actors like Tori Matsuzaka and Keiko Kitagawa, the cast keenly portrays the light and dark of human existence. It empathically illustrates the "unheard voices" of people living with unspoken pain, vividly depicting the pain hidden in the shadows of society and faint glimmers of hope.

"Sasurai no Uta" is an emotional ballad included in the album "tone," released in February this year, with lyrics and music by Uru and arrangement by Kohei Muneoka.

It introspectively depicts how an individual's experiences gain meaning over time as they move forward into an uncertain future.

The newly revealed artwork expresses the theme encompassed by "Sasurai no Uta" and the temporal structure of the movie "Mirai," resulting in a design that visualizes a sense of time and the fluctuation of memory.

An atmosphere like walking home under a sunset sky, that scene first came to mind. And yet, "Sasurai no Uta." The familiar scenery, but the feeling is always wandering. It makes one imagine that's how it is. A town like one's hometown, yet somewhere far away.
