------------------------------
I am Miyuki Takasawa, Mayor of Toshima Ward.
I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on the holding of the AOM presents Cheer Concert "ReoNa -Yorimichi-".
Toshima Ward formulated the "Toshima Ward Basic Concept and Basic Plan" in April last year. In it, we outlined a policy to expand the base for cultural appreciation and activities for our residents, and we are particularly focused on initiatives to create various experiential opportunities for children.
As you all know, Toshima Ward has been engaged in various initiatives as the "Holy Land of Manga, Anime, and Cosplay."
In this context, we are extremely pleased and encouraged that ReoNa, a very popular anime song singer, has endorsed Toshima Ward's initiatives and has generously invited elementary, junior high, and high school students residing and studying in Toshima Ward to this cheer concert free of charge.
I hope that for all the participants, this concert will be a place where they can feel that "it's okay to get lost, stop, and take a detour ('yorimichi')," and that it will bring more sparkle and hope to their lives starting tomorrow.
ReoNa, thank you very much for today.
Toshima Ward will continue to develop projects to foster the creativity of children to open up their future. We would be delighted if you would continue to lend your support to Toshima Ward's initiatives in the future.
Now, everyone, please enjoy this wonderful time to the fullest!

The Animate Theater, the venue for the performance, was filled with students and parents, creating an atmosphere different from regular live concerts. Were these children familiar with ReoNa's "songs"? As I pondered, the stage lights dimmed. ReoNa appeared on stage, bowed deeply, and took her seat. This time, it was an acoustic setup with guitar and piano. The first song was "ANIMA -Naked Style.-". The concert opened with a thrilling arrangement, different from the usual "ANIMA," followed by "Memento Mori."

In her greeting, she said, "You might have places you need to go, things you need to do, but I hope you can forget everything for this moment and take a detour ('yorimichi')." She then sang "Chikyu ga Ichimai no Ita Dattara" (If the Earth Were a Single Plate), performed for the first time in a long while. This song, which was also broadcast on NHK's "Minna no Uta" in 2023, perfectly fit the concert.
"This song is also a picture book; I hope you can listen to the lyrics and words as if tracing a story," she continued, leading into "Sayonara." This song tells the story of Nara the wolf and Sayo the human, a sad yet gentle piece. Her careful and heartfelt singing seemed to convey the special emotions unique to a cheer concert. The audience responded with warm applause for her song selection.
Here, a talk session unique to this concert was set up with the students who came to the venue. ReoNa showed a slight surprise at the large number of people who came to the live show today and those who were experiencing her music for the first time. She also took questions from fans, which she usually never does.
Questions flew, such as "Which of your three cats is your favorite?" "Why did you decide to become a singer?" and "What's your favorite song of your own?" Then, ReoNa asked in return, "May I ask you a question? Why did you come to this 'Yorimichi' today? What anime is popular at your school right now?" A warm conversation time passed, with each person participating.
