Popular Roasters from Across Japan Gather at Hoshigaoka Terrace. "HOSHIGAOKA COFFEE MARKET" to be Held on May 30th and 31st

The Nagoya Coffee Festival Executive Committee will host the "HOSHIGAOKA COFFEE MARKET" (Hoshigaoka COFFEE Market) for two days, on Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st, 2026, at Hoshigaoka Terrace.

This event is a special edition of the Nagoya Coffee Festival, a market event open not only to coffee lovers but also to families and those looking to enjoy a weekend outing. In addition to skilled roasters from Nagoya and Aichi, roasters from all over Japan, including Kyushu, Hokuriku, and Kanto, will gather at Hoshigaoka Terrace. Each shop will offer coffees prepared to suit the current season, which visitors can enjoy by tasting small amounts.

The venue will feature a coffee tasting experience using exclusive NCF glasses, as well as sales of coffee, coffee beans, chocolates, and baked goods from each participating store. There will also be a parent-child participation workshop combining original glass making for children and a barista experience, aiming to convey the charm of specialty coffee to a wide range of generations.

1. Taste and Compare "Seasonal Coffees" from Roasters Across Japan
At this event, each participating roaster will prepare coffees perfect for the current season. Visitors can use special glasses to enjoy small amounts of coffee from various shops, experiencing the unique characteristics and appeal of each roaster, such as aroma, acidity, sweetness, and aftertaste.

2. Enjoy Tasting with HARIO-made NCF Exclusive Glasses, Hoshigaoka Terrace Specification
Exclusive NCF glasses will be used for the tasting experience. For this event, a limited number of HARIO-made NCF exclusive tasting glasses, Hoshigaoka Terrace specification, will be available. For advance purchasers, a set including one roasted coffee tasting ticket and 400 yen worth of value is also offered.

Furthermore, those who already own NCF exclusive glasses can enjoy tasting by paying at each store as part of this special edition. It's an opportunity to casually experience the depth of coffee while searching for your favorite cup.

3. "Original Cup Making & Barista Experience" for Parents and Children
At the venue, an interactive content for parents and children, "Original Cup Making & Barista Experience," will be held.

In the workshop, participants can experience working in a coffee shop by wearing an apron and hat, and create their own unique original glass by coloring and applying stickers to NCF exclusive glasses. Additionally, a barista challenge using decaffeinated cafe lattes, cocoas, milk, etc., will be held. This is a family-friendly program where small children can safely participate with their guardians.
