SEGA Corporation is pleased to announce that a second collaboration event has been decided for 『Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis ver.2』 (hereinafter referred to as NGS ver.2), currently available for service.

This collaboration will feature various collaboration items inspired by 『Touhou Yumei』. Additionally, arrangement songs familiar from SEGA's music games are planned to be implemented as music discs.

Please look forward to the second collaboration between 『Touhou Project』 and 『NGS ver.2』!

※Items to be implemented will be designed based on SEGA's unique interpretation.

◆About 『Touhou Project』

This refers to the collective works produced by Team Shanghai Alice, which have expanded into various fields including games, books, and music CDs, primarily focusing on bullet hell shooters.

With its unique world setting of "Gensokyo," a fictional world inspired by Japan, its characters with peculiar personalities and backstories, and the depth of its hidden lore, the series has garnered high popularity for its story and characters, leading to the creation of numerous fan-made arrangements, including original BGM used in the games.

◆About 『NGS ver.2』

This is the latest installment in the Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) series, a Japanese online RPG that began service in 2012. The total number of registered users worldwide has surpassed 11 million (as of June 2023).

In June 2023, the "NGS ver.2" ultra-evolution update was released.

The ultimate character creation system has further evolved with the addition of the "Toon Shading" feature for new expression. Create a hero unique in the world and embark on an adventure.
