“Sonic Racing: Cross Worlds” Holds First Ever World Championship! "Legend Comp Round 6," the World Championship Qualifiers, Start Today! Top 24 Entrants Invited to World Championship in New York

SEGA Corporation announced that "Legend Comp Round 6," an official event serving as the in-game qualifier for the game's first-ever world championship, "World Championship 2026," for "Sonic Racing: Cross Worlds," which is currently on sale, will be held starting today, June 30 (Tue).

This tournament is an esports event where the top 24 players gathered from around the world will compete for the title of world's strongest in the finals.

Finalists who rank in the top 24 of the world rankings in the qualifying event, which begins today, will be invited to the world championship finals to be held in New York, USA, in October 2026. Additionally, special limited stickers can be obtained just by participating in one race or more during the event period, and numerous luxurious rewards will be available based on the grade reached.

The qualifying event will be held until July 20 (Mon), 8:59 AM (JST). Compete with players from around the world and seize your ticket to New York!
