SEGA Ltd. announces the release of the vocal music selection album "Super Monkey Ball Step and Roll – Vocal Selections" from the game "Super Monkey Ball Step and Roll" (Japanese title: "Super Monkey Ball Athletic") on major music streaming platforms starting Monday, June 29, 2026.

Originally released in 2010 for the Wii, "Super Monkey Ball Athletic" was led by Tomoya Ohtani, composer renowned for his work on the "Sonic" series, and gained attention for featuring female vocalists from various regions around the world. Four vocal tracks from the game are now available on music streaming services for the first time—don't miss this opportunity to enjoy them.

For "Super Monkey Ball Athletic," I centered the music around four-on-the-floor house beats, expressing the unique character of each world through diverse musical approaches. Completing each world unlocks the full vocal version of its theme.

We also placed great emphasis on live instrument recordings, including strings and erhu. These tracks were originally composed 17 years ago, and for this release, I worked with recording engineers to refresh the mixes and mastering with a modern touch.

I'm truly delighted that these tracks, each created with deep personal dedication, are now available digitally. I hope fans enjoy this different side of my musical work, distinct from the "Sonic" series.
