The latest installment of the 'PICO PARK' series, which has sold over 8 million copies! Collaboration game 'SONIC PICO PARK' with 'Sonic the Hedgehog' celebrating 35th anniversary this year announced!

PICO PARK Inc. (Representative Director: Shintaro Shimazu) announced the release of 'SONIC PICO PARK', a collaboration game with 'Sonic the Hedgehog', one of Sega's most popular IPs celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, as the latest installment in the 'PICO PARK' series of cooperative action puzzle games playable locally or online for 2 to 8 players.

This collaboration is a special celebration of the 35th anniversary of 'Sonic the Hedgehog'. PICO CAT, the representative character of the 'PICO PARK' series, will race through the world of 'PICO PARK' with Sonic, the fastest hedgehog ever who breaks through any place at supersonic speed, and Sonic's friends like Tails, Knuckles, and Amy.

All playable characters can use the Spin Dash, and many gimmicks unique to the 'Sonic' series such as rings, loops, and springs will appear.

The trailer video first revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026 showcases some of the notable stages.

For the release, a wide range of merchandise using collaboration characters is also planned.

PICO PARK was originally a personal game I made, and I myself worked at Sega for 15 years, so I am very happy to be able to collaborate with Sonic in this memorable year!
In this title, we have added Sonic's actions and gimmicks to the base of PICO PARK, preparing a cooperative experience unique to this collaboration.
