Sonic Racing Cross Worlds Free Update 'Arle' Available Today, May 28 (Thu)! 'Puyo Puyo Festa' Also Announced!

SEGA Corporation has released a free update for 'Sonic Racing Cross Worlds' today, May 28, 2026, adding Arle from the 'Puyo Puyo' series. Additionally, a limited-time collaboration event, 'Puyo Puyo Festa,' is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 29. By collecting Festa Points during the event, players can obtain special in-game items unique to this collaboration. We have also released a video introducing the 'Arle' update, so please take a look. Furthermore, a sale is currently underway on the PlayStation™Store, where the standard edition of 'Sonic Racing Cross Worlds' is available at 40% off. The free update adds the racer 'Arle' and the original machine 'Twinkle Bayoen.' Additionally, five tracks from the 'Puyo Puyo' series have been added to the jukebox, which can be set as background music during races. The 'Puyo Puyo Festa' is an online race event where players are divided into three teams to compete for total ranking points. Teams will take on special rules for each Festa, such as competing for the number of 'Touch Dashes.'
