Court Adventure Game 'Road to Empress II', Where Players Break the Chains of Fate and Face Court Power Struggles, is Now Open for Wishlist Registration! Nintendo Switch(TM) Version Scheduled for 2026 Release

SEGA Corporation announces that the court adventure game "Road to Empress II," developed by New One Studio, is now available for wishlist registration on Steam.

In addition, a bundle edition containing both "Road to Empress I" and "Road to Empress II" is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch™ in 2026.

SEGA has entered into a partnership agreement with New One Studio to handle the joint publishing of the PC (Steam) software "Road to Empress II" for Japan, and the joint publishing of the Nintendo Switch software "Road to Empress I & II" for Japan and select Asian markets.

"Road to Empress" is a mega-hit live-action interactive drama themed around court survival and political maneuvering amidst a vortex of conspiracies. Casual choices significantly impact the fate of the protagonist and those around her, delivering deep immersion and high replayability. Players will experience the journey of a generation's empress through their own decisions.

The scenes within the work are live-action and shot with cinematic dedication. The performances by a talented and popular cast, along with a world built down to the finest details in its props, have garnered much attention. The first installment of the series, "Road to Empress I," surpassed 1 million copies sold worldwide within just two weeks of its release.
