Sega, Atlus, and Animate Launch First Global Cross-Project! One-Year Collaboration with Popular IPs at Animate Stores Worldwide

Sega Corporation (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and COO: Shuji Utsumi; hereinafter "Sega") and Animate Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Directors: Akihiro Togawa, Jun Fujiki; hereinafter "Animate") are launching a large-scale collaborative project that will sequentially feature collaborations with Sega Group IPs for one year at Animate stores both in Japan and overseas. This global-scale collaboration, spanning Sega Group's IP portfolio, is a first for both Sega and Animate. We are also pleased to announce the schedule for the year-long collaboration. This project will create opportunities for fans to experience the charm of the works more closely through exhibitions, game trials, merchandise sales, and Cafe Gratte collaborations at over 140 Animate stores, including those in Japan and all overseas locations, featuring eight globally popular IPs owned by Sega and group companies Atlus and Rovio Entertainment. At the only shops held in various locations, there will be exhibitions related to the works, and at Gratte, fans can enjoy graphic lattes printed with characters. Additionally, fairs will be held where customers can receive special benefits with product purchases. IPs collaborating in this project include 'Sonic the Hedgehog', 'Puyo Puyo', 'Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku', 'Persona' series (Atlus), 'Metaphor: ReFantazio' (Atlus), 'Like a Dragon', 'Angry Birds' (Rovio), and 'Sakura Wars' (in order of event period). Events will be held sequentially from June 2026 at Animate stores in Japan and overseas, so please look forward to further announcements. Sega advocates a "transmedia strategy" that expands its rich IP assets not only into games but also into various media such as video and music live performances, and merchandise.
