SEGA Corporation announces that the major expansion content for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, currently available from GSC Game World, titled "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope," is scheduled for release in the summer of 2026.
"S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope" is a massive piece of downloadable content packed with dozens of hours of gameplay. It depicts a glimmer of hope piercing through the heavy, oppressive atmosphere of collapse.
Players will once again step into the exclusion "ZONE" as Skif, the protagonist of Heart of Chornobyl. Upon installing this content, a signal will reach your PDA, triggering a new story. As before, the player's choices will influence the unfolding events, and those choices may have consequences that extend far beyond the Zone itself.
