S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's First Major Expansion 'Cost of Hope' Arrives Summer 2026! Featuring Two New Regions, Mutants, and Equipment

SEGA Corporation announces that the major expansion content for GSC Game World's currently available title, 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl', titled 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope', is scheduled for release in the summer of 2026.

'S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope' is a massive piece of downloadable content packed with dozens of hours of gameplay. It depicts a glimmer of hope piercing through the heavy, oppressive atmosphere of collapse.

Players will once again venture into the Exclusion Zone as Skif, the protagonist of 'Heart of Chornobyl'. Upon installing this content, a signal will reach your PDA, triggering a new story. As before, the player's choices will influence future developments, and those choices may have consequences that extend far beyond the Zone itself.
