Durability × Grip: A New Dimension in Road Running by Vibram®

The biggest update in this release is the newly adopted "Vibram® XS DURA" rubber on the outsole. Known for its exceptional durability, it resists wear even with daily use, offering long-lasting toughness. The grip performance has improved by 8.5% compared to the previous TORIN 8, maintaining high performance on all terrain types and in cold conditions. The soft feel at footstrike is another highlight, thanks to the newly developed "P35X™ Dual-Density (two-layer) foam" midsole, which optimally blends soft and firmer foam layers. This delivers energetic rebound, cushioning, and stable, wobble-free support.

The stack height is set at 28mm—4mm lower than the previous model—enhancing flexibility and direct ground contact. The upper has also been upgraded with a redesigned heel structure, tongue, and breathable mesh, delivering an instantly enveloping, premium fit the moment you slip it on.

The signature ALTRA DNA remains intact: the FootShape™ toe box (※1) provides toe splay freedom and secure midfoot hold, while the Zero Drop™ design (※2) supports the body’s natural, correct running motion.
