The LE KLINT "BOUQUET" series, which has been well-received in Japan since its launch, will be adding a new color, "Smoked Oak," to its floor and table lamps.

The wooden parts, such as the base, are made of rich Smoked Oak, while the support is made of sharp-looking black. This changes the warm ambiance created by the existing Light Oak and Cream White, giving it a more dignified and chic impression.

The "BOUQUET" series was designed inspired by a bouquet of tulips just beginning to bloom, casually tied together. The series started with pendant lights resembling a bundle of multiple shades, and has sold 5-light, 3-light, and 1-light types.

Subsequently, floor and table lamps were created, reminiscent of a single proud flower in full bloom. Both have a graceful presence that sways in the spring breeze. The table lamp has a slight indentation on its base for placing accessories or keys. As the shades envelop the light source, they emit a soft and comfortable light without glare, making them suitable for various scenes and spaces.

Søren Sværke Damkjær

Studied Industrial Design at Aalborg University, earning a Master of Engineering. His representative work, BOUQUET, was inspired by a bouquet of tulips he saw at a market in Italy during his student days. By reinterpreting LE KLINT's DNA of folding, he created lighting like a modern chandelier. He currently supports LE KLINT's design aspects as a Design Coordinator.
