BS10 to Broadcast B.LEAGUE Championship Semifinal Game 1 Between Nagasaki Velca and Chiba Jets Live on May 15

Nationwide free BS broadcaster BS10 has announced that it will air Game 1 of the semifinal matchup between Nagasaki Velca and the Chiba Jets in the Resona Group B.LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP 2025-26 live from 6:56 p.m. on Friday, May 15. The series is a best-of-three format, and if Game 3 is held, BS10 will also broadcast it live from 6:56 p.m. on Monday, May 18. Nagasaki Velca, making their first Championship appearance in the club’s fifth year and continuing an impressive run, will face the star-studded Chiba Jets, whose roster includes Japan national team players Yuki Togashi and Yuta Watanabe. BS10 will carry this high-profile battle for a place in the B.LEAGUE Finals. The Resona Group B.LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP 2025-26 will determine this season’s annual B.LEAGUE champion. After all quarterfinal games held from May 7 to May 11 concluded, the semifinal matchups were confirmed. The four clubs advancing are Nagasaki Velca, Chiba Jets, Ryukyu Golden Kings, and Nagoya Diamond Dolphins. BS10 will broadcast Game 1 of Nagasaki Velca vs Chiba Jets live, and will also air Game 3 if it is held. Nagasaki Velca won the West District with a roster featuring Japan national team player Yudai Baba, high-scoring Lee Hyun-jung, and Stanley Johnson. The Chiba Jets are aiming for their first championship in five seasons, led by Japan national team floor leader Yuki Togashi and former NBA player Yuta Watanabe. During the broadcast, BS10 will invite viewers to submit real-time comments through its free official app, Tsunagaru Japanet, with selected comments to be introduced during the program. However, the game broadcast will not be simulcast on the official app or connected TV services, and viewers are asked to watch via BS broadcasting. Broadcast details are as follows: Game 1 airs from 6:56 p.m. on Friday, May 15; Game 3 airs from 6:56 p.m. on Monday, May 18, only if the game is held. For Game 1, Keita Miyazawa, a BS10 announcer, will provide play-by-play commentary, with Kiyohiko Tsukamoto as commentator and Risa Yoshida, also a BS10 announcer, as on-site reporter. If Game 3 is held, Keita Miyazawa will again provide play-by-play, with Yukihiro Sakan as commentator. BS10 is also running a Nagasaki Velca signed uniform giveaway.
