Nara Hotel, currently closed, will resume operations on June 4, 2026. In conjunction with the reopening, they are offering a special accommodation plan: 'Shoryakuji Temple Night Firefly Viewing and Bodaimoto Sake Tasting Experience [with breakfast].' Guests will be guided by a monk through Shoryakuji, known as the birthplace of sake, to enjoy fireflies on early summer nights and compare different types of Bodaimoto sake, an ancient brewing method. The plan is available on June 17, 20, and 22, 2026, starting at 26,300 yen per person.
