On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Sun Fresh Group Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Kashiwa City, Chiba; CEO: Akiko Ochiai; hereinafter 'Sun Fresh HD'), which operates about 40 specialty fruit and vegetable stores in major department store basements nationwide, signed a 'Partnership Agreement Concerning the Expansion of Sales Channels and Promotion of Exports for Prefectural Produce' with Akita Prefecture.

■ Purpose of this Agreement

The purpose is to strongly promote the expansion of sales channels for Akita prefectural produce in major domestic department stores and overseas markets by leveraging the sales expertise and business network of Sun Fresh HD.

[Domestic Expansion] First Fair to be Held at Yokohama Takashimaya This Summer
As the first step of this agreement, a promotional fair for Akita prefectural produce will be held at the Yokohama Takashimaya store this summer. We will promote first-class products such as 'gift-quality small watermelons' and 'junsai' in the department store market, which attracts one of the top purchasing demographics in the country.

[Overseas Expansion] Full-scale Start of Fruit Exports to 4 Asian Stores
Utilizing our group's global network, we will fully focus on the business of exporting high-quality Akita prefectural fruits, nurtured by a rich climate, to four overseas stores, including those in Bangkok, Thailand (Siam Takashimaya, etc.), Hong Kong (Sogo Hong Kong), and Malaysia (Seibu Malaysia).
