Sapana Mandates Two-Factor Authentication (MFA) for WiLL Mail Logins

Sapana Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shunichi Goto; hereinafter "Sapana") announces that, starting June 2026, two-factor authentication (MFA) will be mandatory for logging into WiLL Cloud, including the email delivery system 'WiLL Mail'.

By requiring additional identity verification—such as biometric authentication via passkeys or confirmation codes generated by smartphone authentication apps—alongside user ID and password, this measure aims to reduce the risk of unauthorized logins and account takeovers by third parties.

In recent years, attacks targeting cloud services have evolved beyond system vulnerabilities to include tactics that exploit user authentication data, such as credential theft, phishing, and social engineering.
