【Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture】Calling for Companies and Startups Nationwide Aiming to Create New Businesses! "FY2026 Toyohashi City Future Industry Creation Project Subsidy" Applications Now Open (Deadline: May 22)

Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, has begun recruiting for the "Future Industry Creation Project Subsidy," targeting companies and startups nationwide. The purpose of this project is to promote the creation of new technologies and new businesses by companies, startups, and universities nationwide, in collaboration with industry, academia, government, and finance. It supports all phases towards commercialization, from market research to initial prototype development, joint research with universities, product development, and demonstration experiments. Consultation and application support are available, so please feel free to contact us.

In addition to this subsidy, selected companies and startups will receive active individual accompanying support towards commercialization, such as providing opportunities for consultation with experts.

**Eligible Applicants**
Companies and startups nationwide

**Support Details**

1. **Business Feasibility Study Project**
Projects aimed at increasing the feasibility of commercialization, such as technical verification of products and services, or market needs research and verification.
Maximum amount: 500,000 yen (Subsidy rate: up to 1/2)

2. **Joint Research Project**
Projects to research and develop new products or new technologies in collaboration with universities and other research institutions.
Maximum amount: 2,500,000 yen (Subsidy rate: up to 1/2)

3. **New Business Development Project**
Projects to develop new products or new services for which needs have been confirmed.
Maximum amount: 2,500,000 yen (Subsidy rate: up to 1/2)

4. **Social Experiment Project**
Projects to conduct demonstration experiments involving the community, with the aim of social implementation of new products or new services.
Maximum amount: 7,500,000 yen (Subsidy rate: up to 1/2)

5. **Next-Generation Human Resource Development Project**
Projects that contribute to the development of next-generation industrial human resources, based in the city.
Maximum amount: 250,000 yen (Subsidy rate: up to 10/10)
