Cocodokoro Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano, Tokyo; CEO: Shinichi Toyama) has launched 'Counseling Gift,' a new feature for its online counseling service 'Uraraka Soudan,' which allows users to gift counseling sessions to loved ones.

The 'Counseling Gift' allows users to send points usable on the Uraraka Soudan platform to family, friends, or anyone they care about. It is designed as a way to send 'mental care' as a gift to those who may be busy, facing life changes, or dealing with internal struggles.

Gifts are sent easily via a shared URL. Recipients can redeem the points for counseling sessions or programs after registering and logging in. (Note: Currently available only on the Web version for PC and smartphone browsers.)

The company noted that in Japan, counseling is often stigmatized as being only for those with severe mental health issues, while many others struggle silently. Uraraka aims to destigmatize counseling, making it a more accessible choice.

'Uraraka Soudan' is the largest online counseling service in Japan, with over 850 certified professionals. It is available for 24-hour booking and supports anonymous consultations.
