Crowdfunding Contents

'Slay the Spire: The Board Game' (hereafter 'base set') is a board game based on the popular digital game 'Slay the Spire' (available on Steam/Nintendo Switch, etc.). It has garnered enthusiastic support from both digital and board game fans in Japan, with series sales exceeding 200 million yen.

This time, as an expansion set, the popular mod 'Downfall' from the original digital game has been adapted into a board game. Players can enjoy a reverse-perspective gameplay by controlling the enemy bosses from the base set: 'Slime Boss,' 'Guardian,' and 'Hexaghost,' and descending the tower. Conversely, the base set's playable characters, 'Ironclad,' 'Silent,' 'Defect,' and 'Watcher,' will now stand in the way as bosses.

Purpose of Crowdfunding

The funds raised will be allocated to royalties based on agreements with the overseas publisher, manufacturing costs, Japanese translation fees, and shipping costs. As it is a language-dependent board game, releasing a Japanese version aims to make it enjoyable for more people.

To meet the diverse needs of backers, six different pledge levels have been prepared. Some plans include the collector's edition of the base set, which had been sold out.
