Kamogawa Sea World Announces 'Summer Splash 2026' and Exclusive Logo for Japan's Top Soaking Wet Festival

Kamogawa Sea World (located in Kamogawa City, Chiba; Director: Hiroshi Katsumata), a flagship facility of Granvista Hotels & Resorts, has announced the return of its iconic summer event, the 'Summer Splash' killer whale performance. Along with the event's confirmation, the official logo for 'Summer Splash 2026' has been finalized.

In preparation for the peak summer season, the new logo was designed to create a sense of unity at the performance venue and enhance the festival atmosphere. The design captures the essence of summer with splashing water, sparkling sunlight, and the powerful presence of the killer whales.

To commemorate the logo's release, Kamogawa Sea World will begin pre-selling an original 'Splash T-shirt' exclusively within the facility. Furthermore, the official 'Kamogawa Sea World Hotel' will offer a special accommodation plan that includes this T-shirt. The pre-sale reflects the staff's wish for guests to wear the T-shirt and fully enjoy the soaking wet experience during the event. Sales will end once stock is depleted.

The specific start date for 'Summer Splash' will be announced in June, taking into account the weather and temperature trends.

What is Summer Splash?
Often described on social media as a 'must-experience' event, Summer Splash features killer whales using their massive tail flukes (measuring over 1.5 meters) to drench the audience with spectacular splashes known as 'Tail Bursts.' It is a traditional summer festival that delivers the overwhelming power of these marine animals to the guests.

About the 'Summer Splash 2026' Logo:
The 2026 limited edition logo features a blue-based design representing summer, incorporating motifs of water splashes and radiant sunlight. It depicts the dynamic power of a killer whale diving into the water and will be used for venue decorations and official merchandise.

This original T-shirt features the Kamogawa Sea World logo on the left sleeve and the Summer Splash logo on the front.
