Good Works Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yū Suai) will host a special seminar titled 'Big Real Session [Panel Discussion Connecting Middle Schools, High Schools, Universities, and Society]' on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the TKP Akihabara Conference Center. The seminar will be held in two identical sessions—morning and afternoon—with on-site participation limited to the first 100 attendees per session (free of charge).

Last summer’s event attracted over 300 teachers and received significant acclaim. This year, the content has been further enhanced to connect the perspectives of schools (middle and high), universities, and the real-world (IT companies) into a cohesive narrative, offering a comprehensive session that addresses both the future of education and practical solutions for current challenges—all within a single day.

Purpose and Background of the Seminar

Today, the education sector faces a critical question: 'Why must schools change now?' This seminar will approach this issue from four distinct perspectives—society, universities, schools, and industry—to conduct a multifaceted examination of education in 2030. The program is designed to deliver both a forward-looking vision—clarifying the alignment between talent expectations from society and universities and the goals of the new curriculum guidelines—and practical strategies for on-the-ground implementation, such as organizational digital transformation (DX) and the use of generative AI.

Speaker Profiles (Selected)

Yūichi Oie (Assistant Professor, Department of Information Media, Nagoya Bunri University)

An expert in information education, particularly at the middle and high school levels. He designs engaging and enjoyable lessons that encourage students to ask 'why' and 'how,' rather than simply delivering content. He is also a pictogram specialist, projection mapping artist, and educational YouTuber. His presentation at last year’s seminar received overwhelming support from attending teachers.

Sachiko Ishizuka (Teacher, Ibaraki Prefectural Ryūgasaki Second High School)

With experience teaching home economics at public middle schools, private and public high schools, and serving as a curriculum advisor for home economics at the prefectural board of education, she currently serves as a supervising teacher at a school with a home economics department.
