Corporate Training Nurturing the Region: Building a 'Learning Cycle Model' via Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration
Since last year, the cities of Ome and Akiruno, the town of Okutama, and LNTJ have launched the 'TOKYO Sustainable Tourism' project. They are developing a platform for region-collaborative corporate training. A portion of the training revenue will be used to train instructors for the 'Leave No Trace (LNT)' environmental ethics program, feeding back into environmental education for local children. Program development will begin in fiscal 2026, with a research meeting held on June 10 (Wednesday).
