[Whisky Event] "Igawa Distillery Fauna 2026 Blending Event" to be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026! The highly popular 3rd collaboration event finally unveils "blending"!

This is the first blending event by a Japanese craft distillery in Dear WHISKY's history! On the day of the event, attendees can enjoy the latest work in the Dessin Series, the peated type Fauna 2026, along with its three constituent raw spirits, and experience blending under the live commentary of the distillers.

The event will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 13:00, at the dining bar "BAR FIVE Arrows," a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, in a hybrid format with both offline and online streaming! Participants who join online will also receive a blend & tasting set in advance, and the seminar can be viewed as an archive!

Venue participation is limited to the first 25 people, and online streaming tickets will be on sale until 23:59 on Sunday, May 17.

◼︎ Introduction to Igawa Distillery!
Igawa Distillery

Located at an altitude of 1,200 meters in the Igawa mountain forest of Aoi Ward, about 4 hours by car from Shin-Shizuoka Station, Igawa Distillery was established by Tosan Co., Ltd. in 2020.

Situated within a national park where general entry is restricted, it is known as the "Distillery of Secrecy" due to its location at the highest point in Japan. Away from human habitation, surrounded by trees and clouds, the distillers stay overnight, sometimes spending two-thirds of a month at the distillery, dedicating themselves to whisky making.

Tokusa spring water is used for mashing, and Mizunara oak barrels, native to the area, are used for maturing the raw spirits. Each drop, born from its unique natural environment and the uncompromising dedication of the artisans, is rapidly gaining recognition among connoisseurs.

For this event, Taihei Seto, the director of Igawa Distillery, and others will come from Shizuoka Prefecture!

From WHISKY LOVERS to those who want to start loving whisky, please enjoy their whisky, infused with the richness and beauty of Japan's nature, at the venue or via streaming!

At this event, you can experience blending with your own hands while tasting a total of five types: the latest Dessin Series work, Fauna 2026, its three constituent raw spirits, and the previous work, Flora 2025. Please enjoy the natural sweetness and multi-layered taste created by Igawa Distillery.

At the venue, we will prepare welcome highballs made with Igawa Distillery's raw spirits (raw spirits will also be sent for online streaming!). You can also fully enjoy Igawa Distillery's raw spirits at the social gathering after the event!

For online participants, a blend & tasting set will be delivered in advance before the event (no international shipping). We will also have Q&A sessions with the distillers and quiz events via streaming! You can enjoy the event in various ways, such as interacting with the distillers from home or watching the archive leisurely later.
