Icho, a restaurant chain operating mainly in the Northern Kanto region, will introduce a new menu featuring 'Akagi Sanroku Pork,' a specialty brand pork from Gunma Prefecture. The menu includes the 'Akagi Sanroku Pork Thick-Cut Kakuni Set Meal' and 'Bowl,' starting June 1, 2026 (Monday), exclusively at the Iobe, Nakai, Rokku, Fujiaku, and Saku branches.

'Local Food' Series Delivering Regional Flavors
Under the theme 'Local food is the best!', Icho develops menu items for its 'Local Food' series. Since its founding, Icho has been supported by the local community, and this initiative serves to highlight outstanding regional ingredients and food culture while supporting local producers.

For this early summer stamina menu, we selected 'Akagi Sanroku Pork,' raised in the rich nature of Mount Akagi. To best bring out its signature 'sweet fat' and 'fine texture,' it has been slowly stewed to achieve a 'melt-in-your-mouth' texture that can be cut with chopsticks.

The Kakuni (set meal) served on an iron plate is incredibly thick yet remains tender enough to melt in your mouth. Infused with a special sauce, it pairs perfectly with toppings like boiled egg, shredded green onion, and spinach.

Designed for those who want to wolf down meat with rice, the 'Kakuni Bowl' comes with a satisfying 300g portion of rice. For those who also want noodles, 'Mini Udon' and 'Mini Soba' sets are also available.
