GALA YUZAWA SNOW RESORT (operated by GALA Yuzawa Co., Ltd.) celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. Since 1998, it has conducted summer operations (Summer Park) for 27 consecutive years.

On this 35th anniversary milestone, aiming for full-season operations and to offer a broader range of experiences beyond its image as a ski resort, the facility will change its nickname to 'GALA YUZAWA MOUNTAIN FIELD' starting this summer season.

To enhance visitor experiences in a rich natural environment, new large-scale attractions will be introduced alongside popular existing activities. Additionally, a new course will debut for the highly popular 'Mountain Kart' activity, which utilizes the ski slopes.

To share the charm of Yuzawa’s summer with more guests, the 2026 summer season will see a significant extension of operating days—68 days in total, the longest in the resort’s history.

In conjunction with the 2026 summer operations, the Shinkansen will run limited-time services to and from Gala-Yuzawa Station for the first time in 26 years.
