GAIAX Partners with Ehime Prefecture and SPC to Hold Generative AI Experience Workshops for Elementary and Junior High School Students at Three Locations in the Prefecture

GAIAX Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Executive Officer: Yuji Ueda; Securities Code: 3775; hereinafter "GAIAX"), which develops AI education programs in collaboration with industry, academia, and government, will partner with SPC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Katsushi Okada; hereinafter "SPC") to hold the generative AI experience workshop "Ehime Jr. AI Quest" (hereinafter, "this workshop") for elementary and junior high school students in Ehime Prefecture. This workshop is part of the "FY2026 Ehime-Initiated Problem-Solving AI Human Resource Development Project (for Elementary, Junior High, and High School Students) Operation Consignment Business" commissioned by Ehime Prefecture to SPC.

This workshop aims to expand the base of human resources capable of solving regional issues using AI by providing opportunities for participants to master the latest generative AI as a tool to promote the charm of the region and develop prototypes for problem-solving, in line with Ehime Prefecture's goal of becoming a "leading region in regional problem-solving utilizing AI."

About the Workshop

No special knowledge, skills, or experience are currently required to participate, but the program is particularly recommended for the following children and students:

- Those who want to learn the tricks to generate images exactly as they imagine using generative AI.

- Those interested in developing new products and services who want to first think about and express their own ideas.

- Those who want to be able to use generative AI to improve the efficiency of their daily studies and enhance the convenience of their lives.

Overview

[Elementary School Edition]

A lecture for parents and children to learn basic knowledge and safe usage of generative AI, followed by a workshop where they will engage in creative activities using generative AI. Participants will rediscover the charm of Ehime and express their own ideas as digital works, thereby increasing their interest in generative AI and fostering continued learning between parents and children.

[Junior High School Edition]

A lecture on effective ways to use generative AI in daily life and studies, along with precautions, followed by a practical workshop themed around solving familiar social issues. Participants will experience the development process of creating prototypes for future services using the latest generative AI to devise solutions.
