Our company was established in 2000 as a venture spin-off from the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS). Since our founding, aiming to be a global niche top in single crystals and lasers, we have focused our business on demonstrating strengths in the optical field under the management philosophy of "returning research results to society and contributing to the development of society." Our main business is the development, manufacturing, and sales of single crystals, optical components, laser light sources, and optical measurement equipment, which are indispensable in the age of light, and we are developing three businesses: "New Domains," "Semiconductors," and "Healthcare."
